There may be occasions when vehicles share similar information, such as trucks in a fleet. In these cases, the copy function is ideal, copying basic information and preventing users from wasting time re-entering data. This tool copies everything but information unique to vehicles, including serial number, price, unit stock number and mileage.
From the Dealer Inventory window, select a truck that shares attributes and click C on that line. A new window will open on the screen, which is illustrated below
Choose one or more of the options in the Source Truck portion of the window: a) Replace the target truck if it already exists, b) Copy the source truck picture, c) Replace the target truck picture if it already exists
Add new information for the following fields: Serial number, mileage, retail price, unit stock number
Click Copy Truck
If there are additional changes to make to the listing, go to the inventory page and modify the truck listing accordingly.
