Dealership: This field allows users to select inventory from one or more specific dealerships. Remember, however, a dealership's inventory may contain a variety of make/manufacturer despite the name of the dealership. Hence, to limit the trucks in a search by manufacturer, a user must select the make field from the basic screen.

States: This field allows searches in one or more specific states. To select multiple states hold the Ctrl-key down while mouse-clicking the other states to be included.

Manufacturer and Model: Mouse-click the down arrow, selecting a manufacturer from the extended list of available manufacturers. Click to select. Repeat this process in the Model field. Also see Smart fields.

Smart fields: Some fields are "smart," such as when selecting a specific make, the model selection list is automatically updated to show just the models for the make selected.

Model: Even just a portion of a vehicle model will help narrow a search because Truck Locator will search for occurrences of that portion. Use this method whether or not selecting a make/manufacturer. For example, typing "34" would select models 348, 349 and 349H.

Years: When entering years, users must always include the century, or a 4-digit year date, e.g. 1969, 2002, etc. 1900 is the earliest year included in this database, and the highest year defaults to the current. For example, to locate trucks built between 1995 and now, enter 1995 as the low date and leave the high date blank.

Mileage: Do not use commas or negative numerals when entering mileage. Remember 0 is the lowest number and 99999999 is the highest. For example, to locate trucks with 0 to 10,000 miles, leave the low field blank and type 10000 into the high field.

Price: Do not use commas or negative numerals when entering price. Remember 0 is the lowest number and 99999999 is the highest.

Sleeper Size: Do not use commas or negative numerals when entering mileage. Remember 0 is the lowest number and 99999999 is the highest.

No Trucks Match Search: If a search returns no vehicles, consider the contents of that search. It's much easier to start out simple and add from there to reduce the amount of vehicles returned by a search.
